I loved Steamboat. I went with my folks for 2 weeks in December and loved every second of it. I'm not much of a skier but my dad is and he said the slopes and snow were way up there with the likes of Aspen and Vail. I loved the shopping and the restaurants and nightlife. If you go, you MUST head to the hot springs about 6 miles out of Steamboat I think. It's called Strawberry Park and it is so beautiful! That was the highlight of my trip. I much more of a tropical destination type girl, but I was happy to discover that Steamboat has other activities besides skiing and snow boarding. PHEW!
