Cocoa Beach
Visitors on holiday in Cocoa Beach can literally touch the moon (or a piece of it at any rate) at the nearby Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral, the main attraction of this resort town where it is possible to watch rockets launch into space from the beach. The fun seaside town is on amore barrier island off the Florida coast with the Atlantic on one side and the Banana River Lagoon on the other.
