Getting Around

The Mediterranean Coast of Turkey provides various transport options for tourists. Dolmuses, shared minibuses, are a popular and affordable way to travel between resorts and towns along the coast, while local buses connect key cities such as Antalya, Mersin and Fethiye, making them a convenient choice for budget-conscious travellers. Taxis and rideshare services such as Uber and BiTaksi are available in larger cities and tourist hubs such as Antalya, offering flexibility for direct travel, though at a higher cost. Renting a car allows visitors to explore the region at their own pace, especially for more remote spots such as Kekova or the rugged beaches near Alanya. Bike and e-bike rentals are common in resort towns such as Kas and Kalkan, and are perfect for leisurely coastal rides. E-scooters are increasingly popular in these areas, providing a quick way to get around. Boat services are an excellent way to explore nearby islands and hidden beaches along the Mediterranean, with frequent routes from places such as Marmaris and Bodrum. Many resorts also provide private shuttle services for airport transfers or excursions, ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
