Climate in Angola
Angola's a large country and the climate varies widely from one region to another. The north is hot and tropical, while conditions become drier further south, turning into desert-like landscapes near the Namibian border. Luanda, the capital on the coast, has a warm and fairly dry climate. The cooler, dry season runs from June to September, and the hotter, more humid season lasts from October to May, with most of the rain falling in March and April. Thanks to its location by the ocean, Luanda generally feels cooler and more comfortable than many inland tropical cities.
