The airport lies about 14 miles (23km) from Skopje city centre, roughly a 25 to 30 minute drive.

Getting to the city

Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and it's a good idea for passengers to confirm the fare before starting their journey. A shuttle bus operated by WTransporter (also known as Erak) runs between the airport and central Skopje during the day.

Time

Local time is UTC+1 (Central European Time) and changes to UTC+2 during daylight saving time in summer.

Car rental

Car rental agencies are available in the arrivals hall, with major companies such as Europcar and Hertz offering services directly at the airport.

Airport Taxis

Official taxis are parked just outside the terminal building. These are white vehicles with identifying numbers and regulated fares, which are posted at the taxi stand for reference.
