Getting to the city

Transport Canberra operates the Rapid 3 (R3) bus route between the Airport Terminal, City Interchange, Belconnen Interchange, Cohen Street Interchange and Spence Terminus. Services run seven days a week, including public holidays, every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. Taxis, rideshare services and limousines are available at all times to and from the city centre.

UTC +10 (standard time). During daylight saving time, the airport operates on UTC +11.

Car rental

Car-hire companies including Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar and Thrifty are represented at the airport, with desks inside the terminal.

Facilities

Free WiFi ('Fly CBR') is available throughout the terminal. Facilities include ATMs, a prayer and multi-faith room, baby-care rooms, first-aid stations and accessible amenities. Cafés, bars, retail outlets and a restaurant are located in the departures concourse. There are no public luggage storage lockers currently available.

Parking

Short- and long-term parking is available close to the terminal. Multi-level indoor parking (Blue and Green areas) and outdoor lots (Red and Yellow zones) are provided. A free 10-minute pick-up zone is located directly outside the terminal for drop-offs and quick collections.
