The airport is situated approximately seven miles (12 km) from central Yerevan. The drive typically takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Getting to the city

Taxis and airport transfer apps are the most common ways to reach the city. App-based services such as GG and Yandex are widely used and offer lower, fixed rates. Taxis can also be found outside the terminal 24 hours a day, but non-app rides may charge more. Many hotels provide shuttle services for pre-booked guests. Regular airport buses also operate, including the Elitebus line 201, which connects the airport to Yerevan.
