Buenos Aires has a warm, humid climate. Summers (December to February) are hot, with average highs around 84°F (29°C), while winters (July to August) are mild, though it can occasionally dip below 50°F (10°C). Most of the rain falls in summer, late spring, and early fall, but visitors can expect showers at any time of year. When the summer heat kicks in, a lot of locals head to the coast to cool off.
